Why Soy?
Soy wax is a natural renewable vegetable wax made from soybean oil.
Our wax is biodegradable which can be cleaned up with soap and water
Soy candles create a clean soot free burn. this makes our candles better to have in your home for you and your family.
Unlike Paraffin candles which burn at a higher temperature, soy candles will last longer because they burn at a slower rate.
Are there any artificial colors or harmful chemicals?
All of our candles are made without colorants. We wanted to create candles as natural as possible
Any fragrances used by Scented Ambiance are phthalate free so the beautiful aromas are safe for the entire family, Even our furry kids!
Why the Variations?
Occasionally you will see differences in color(ivory, white, off white) or surface texture with our candles. These variations are neither a fault nor a flaw. Our candles are hand poured in small batches. As with most handmade natural products each may differ. This will not affect the overall quality of your product.
Candle Care
When burning for the first time, allow the flame to stay lit for at least 2 hours. This will ensure the wax burns to the edge of the container and create a wax imprint.
ALWAYS keep wick trimmed to 1/4" before each burn.
Keep those jars! Once the candle is finished wash with soap and water and let dry.
There are plenty of ways to re-purpose them. A few examples are to hold q-tips or makeup brushes on your vanity or dresser.
